Training, assessment, planning
Every environment is different and requires a unique restoration and management plan. Below are examples of training, assessment and restoration planning workshops available. After consultation with EcoRenew, we will create a 3-5 day training plan, build a team and come to your site to teach you the skills needed to implement an individualized restoration plan.

Rangeland Assessment and Riparian and Wetland Proper Functioning Conditions.

Development of Quality Assurance Project Plan and Data Management

Water and Sediment Sampling. This training is designed to familiarize participants with instruments used to measure ambient water quality parameters such as temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, conductivity and turbidity.

Strategic Planning, Data Quality Objectives, Monitoring Design/Project Planning. Skills in this training are used to develop monitoring and sampling plans for stream and wetland water quality and/or contaminated sites.

Data Review and Validation. This training provides participants guidance in reviewing and validating chemical data, biological data and field data.

Stream, Wetland and Lake Bioassessment sampling. This training familiarizes participants with the methods, identification and analysis of aquatic organisms.

Landscape Characterization. This training is targeted to large-scale watershed studies, for example mining and forestry impacts.

Proper Functioning Condition. PFC training prepares environmental professionals to develop management and implementation plans, with an understanding of how monitoring supports an adaptive management approach to resource restoration.

Individual Assistance and Special Projects. Training, analysis and report writing will occur on an individual basis.
